Occupational Therapy for ADHD

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, known as ADHD, is split into three primary features:

  • Difficulty staying focussed (inattention)
  • Excessive movement (hyperactivity)
  • Acting hastily without thinking (impulsivity)

ADHD is one of the most common neurodevelopmental conditions, affecting roughly 5-8% of children. ADHD can be genetic and run in families.
