LEGO®-BASED THERAPY

What is it?

LEGO®-Based Therapy is a collaborative, play based social skills intervention. It is designed to improve social competence in children with social difficulties.

Who is it for?

LEGO®-Based Therapy is appropriate for children with the following diagnosis:

  • Autism
  • Speech and Language Difficulties
  • Social Communication Difficulties
  • Anxiety and Depression

It is appropriate for children between the ages of 6 and 16, however the groups will be organised by age group accordingly.

How is it run?

The programme is run by the Occupational Therapy Assistant, Ashleigh Brandreth who is a  LEGO®- Based Therapy Facilitator.

It consists of 13, hour long sessions, with 3 children per session.
