Clinical supervision has been defined as a formal process of professional support and learning that enables individual practitioners to develop knowledge and competence, assume responsibility for their practice, and enhance consumer protection and safety of care in complex clinical situations (Department of Health [DH] 1993).

Supervision provides a supportive environment for sharing, reflection and development of clinical skills for occupational therapists. At Manchester Occupational Therapy Services we offer clinical supervision from occupational therapists with experience in both public and private sectors with a focus on paediatrics, case management and a sensory integration practitioner.
